Greetings All! Our club is still growing. Did you know that we have over 140 members? Yet... you think we'd have more contributions. You guys!! I'm serious let us see some artwork or some poetry or a story. Let us get involved, over 140 members and not one of you has entered the contest? That's crazy! Now I'm not whineing as the administrator of Therianthropes I am just trying to get everyone as excited about therianthropes as I am. Now, I realise I haven't been really posting much either but being the poor injured wolf that I am with a sprained wrist I haven't even uploaded to my own site. *slack* I really hate to see that we have all these members and so little participation.

Recently in the club we have been gaining a good many new members. This is fabulous news! I am very excited for those that have joined us since the administration change. Welcome!
However, there is a small issue. We have all of these new members and everyone seems so interested but there is very little going on project wise. Every once in awhile we will get a few new art posts, again this is terrific, but I need a little more feed back from you guys on the icon contest, which by the way I have not recieved a single entry, and also *fleetfoot 's new idea of the Therianthrope Dictionary.
I'd like to hear a little more raised voices and perhaps we can get our own chatroom started in the DA chat forums.
I think then we'd be able to make more efficient and affective progress with this club.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Since there are so many new changes in the new administration of this particular club I would like to give the place a bit of a face lift. The icon we have now is wonderful, I adore it! But I think it is about that time for a change with that too. Only members may enter but if you aren't a member and want to make an icon entry than.. JOIN US PLEASE! I would love to see some new faces and some new art entries .
Come on people (wolves, horses, tigers, gryphons) whatever you are, let's
show some pride and boast a bit!
I will be judging the entries on creativity, variety and appeal. This does not mean it has to be animated but make it noticeable! Something that people will see and say, "Wow, that is a really eye catching icon I wonder what they are all about."
However, it must have Therianthropes of DA,deviantart or whatever in it. We want our fellow deviants to know who we are and what we are about.

In other news I would like everyone to welcome our new co-administrator *fleetfoot. Go on, go give licks and nuzzles, don't be shy.

We do need some contest art out there, (otherwise the club admins get to pick a new ugly icon. Lol. Who ever said that we could draw? ) and any possible other reccomended websites. I'm sure that there are plenty worth viewing that I haven't discovered yet!

Message to all members: In need of potential terms for our Encyclopedia! Note me! (Absolutely anything you consider important for therians and non-therians to understand. Common misconceptions, really basic things, myths, etc.)

The description will be copied from the original deviation, and the title of the deviation will be submitted to the club as "username-##" if the title has already been taken.

To all members and potential members, thanks for reading the all-new, revamped main journal page!

Over these past weeks, I've been rewriting our important journals, and making them generally easier to navigate and read. What a long members list to get through!
I do hope you like them! Any further suggestions are appreciated!

I'm also planning to start the next major project; our own encyclopedia!! Yay! So I would appreciate very much if you all could note the club with some Therian-related terms to define in our "Big Black Book."
The project will be a monster of an undertaking, seeing that there aren't really any specific term definitions to Therianthropy. (It is mostly an individual person's belief that makes it what it is..)

As for me, I'm a Therian (as you might've guessed) and a fox one at that. I've been one (or at least defined myself as a Therian) for some six years, and my main place of residence on the internet besides my DA page is WereNet, my other favourite place on the web.
As a Junior in highschool, I'm absolutely cramming work each and every night, but it is a joy to help run Therianthropes!

That is right, to all the therians, weres, whelps, wyrms (yes even you too) and friends there of, this club is under new administration. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Kelly a.k.a KarareWolf a.k.a . You all can just refer to me as Chaggy or Grinny or Kelly Mongrel. I have been a therianthrope for just about as long as I can remember. I have been involved in the Were community as well and do not consider them one in the same. However, as long as I am around all will be treated equal. All of the previous admins rules still apply. However, I DO want to see some art from you guys. I know a few of you who are members and I know good and well you draw, so where's the expression of your souls! I believe we can all have a lot of fun with this and I hope that I can bring a little something new to the table. So first of all I will be holding a contest for a new avatar. Ya don't win anything other than your work as the clubs main icon so if there are any good sports out there that would be able to lend me a paw that'd be awesome. I will be judgeing for creativity and something that just shouts I am a therian here me roar, purr, caw or moo. Whatever, have fun with it!

This is a club devoted to the Therianthropes of DeviantART, but as this club progressed, we have raised our standards, this is no longer intended to be a simple club, but a means on information for those new and old to Therianthropy, a safe haven for those who simply want to express their ideals and opinions of their own spiritual connection with their respective animal(s). This is more than a club, but a family of those who share their spirits and souls with nature, who feel more deeply for animals than most. People may ridicule us, think we're crazy to be what we are. We do NOT suffer the delusion that we physically shift, This club was not intended for roleplayers, or those who assume the title of "Therian" only on the computer, or to impress others. We are the Therianthropes of DeviantART.

If you joined this club, thinking it was for roleplayers, please step down from this club gracefully, send us a note stating you'd like to leave, your name will not be open to the public, the founder reading your note will not make fun of you, we just want the members to feel safe, that the member they're speaking to understands what they're saying. I hope you understand this, I thank you for taking the time to read it.

Please send us a note, any requests to join on the comments of our userpage will be ignored because you obviously did not take the time to read the journal, which you MUST do.
In this note, please include your Phenotype, a Phenptype is the animal you are connected with. Also in this note, please include at least two complete sentences of what your personal belief of Therianthropy is.

We will not ridicule you if your opinion strays from the norm! This is our promise to you, that your opinions will not be displayed pubicly, as they are yours to keep secret or announce to the world. The only reason I am doing this is to make ABSOLUTE certain that roleplayers do not enter our club. I hate that I have to ask this of you, but I must.
After that devwatch the club, a founder will answer your note, and you're most likely in!

To submit your art to this club, please send us a note titled "art", in it please include a link to the image, also the name you'd like us to give it, if the name is already taken, I'll improvise The description will be a copied version of the origional description, unless you specify you'd like a different description.
Your art MUST be about therianthropy, whether it shows anthro, animals, whatever, it MUST be about therians, see the name of the club? Therianthropy, there ya go.
